The DMDC is a little thinner than the CG.

The DC is .250" thick and CG is appx .285" thick.

Thanks- I have a DMCG in tank finish and really like it.Jeff did kydex in like a gray " tank "color that came out awesome. I imagine the SODs are really brutal as the DMs are awesome. Thank you for pics and clarification

No Problem...I love that tank finish. I hope SY makes more knives in that finish...it looks awesome!!!

I don't have my SOD yet (it's in the mail...woo hoo!!!), but I've use my Ratweiler
and my Scrapper 6 to take down a couple of trees, limb them, and cut them up
into 3 foot lengths to be able to haul them away.

The trees were about 4 inches in diameter and about 15 feet high.
It was fun. Was also fun to see my 13 yr old nephew playing with them.
He had a blast.

Didn't have the camera with me at the time, otherwise you'd be looking at

That is a great blend- S6 and a Ratweiler. 101 vs 77 - both great picks . Have you thought about a YG or CT ? These two are up on my list along with a Chop or Rat. Looks like you are thinking along pretty much the same lines. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Not sure how many they made in that finish ? I have the DMCG and DFCG in tank. Maybe Jim knows ? or anybody else ? I am pretty sure they came from Knob ?

I will make the SOD my edc. Is that legal?

i really want to find a brand new DMCG in black..thats the knife i need more than any other at this point... im still upset i missed that one back before i came to the Yard <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

I'm upset I missed the whole lot and got into the game late. The fact I'm getting a SOD helps, and really looking forward to the next offering.
