Looks like I'm the most "out there" in a land of rock-n-roll and metal fans. :P Favorite artist is probably Vangelis. Also like Bjorn Lynne ("sci-fi and fantasy rock"), Enya, most classical but especially Tchaikovsky. Game soundtracks, quite a few of those in either orchestral or synthed flavors. I'm a huge fan of mod tunes, so I'm a fan of the classics there like the Future Crew guys, Karsten Koch, Straylight. Last night I spent about 3 hours listening to "Love & Death" by Michael van den Bos (aow-lovdeath.it) on repeat.

I'm not a big fan of most rock or metal with lyrics, because the words are either difficult for me to pick out or I'd rather not know what they're on about. *shrug*

I am a child of the early Metallica==me and my friends were the ones that were dubbing their stuff and passing it around which led to a lot more exposure in the OKC area back in the day. I still like Metallica if it is pre-Black album. I also like G&R, Zeplin, Flyod, Doors, CCW, Hendrix, and anything with good guitar rip chords. Now country--anything pre Garth Brooks, and yes I actually like some of Toby Keiths songs but they are few and far between.

I'm mostly into classical music, Beethoven, Strauss, Mozart, etc...
Lately, I've been listening to a lot of Pink Floyd, and surprisingly a
lot of Canadian Maritime Celtic music.
Don't care much for the new Country music, but I really like Johnny Cash.
Weird eh?
Grew up on Classical Rock, Punk and Metal, but not really into it anymore.

Johnny Cash rocks!!!

We used to see him at our state fair in Nebraska when I was a kid and he put on a hell of a show back then, but back then I was a kid and didn't really like him at the time.

Johnny Cash did some of the soundtrack for The Hunted.
Was pretty cool.

My dad used to play and sing the older JC songs all the time.
Him and his friends would get together on a Saturday night, the Rye
and guitars would come out and pretty soon JC songs would be fillin the air.

I was young at that time, and didn't care too much, but now I remember those
times fondly.

Cheers

I listen to some metal,a lot of hardcore, and some death metal/progressive.
But I also like some alternative and other random stuff.
(jack Johnson, Lil' Wayne)

some specific examples...
Norma Jean, The chariot, Underoath, The Devil Wears Prada, Job for a cowboy and Gwen Stacey.
I mostly like small unsigned bands, but those are some more popular examples.
