Well, Xmas Eve I was browsing the exchange and managed to score a SFNO LE at cost price and ordered a Kydex sheath for it from Steelnut....a bit of an extravagant present to myself....but hey...shrouds don't have pockets! It was a cool gesture putting one out at cost by Steelnut! Very Cool! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

No new knives, but my wife gave me a Stanley Black Chrome 149 piece socket set
with 1/2, 3/8, and 1/4 drive sockets both metric and standard as well as a
reciprocating saw (much needed for the spring).
Also got a Petzl Tikka Plus headlamp and a real cool fire steel with a stag bone
handle.
For my wife's present, I got her a Maxpedition Jumbo Versipak and stuffed it with
goodies like a Mora Clipper, a SAK, the SAS survival manual, a first aid kit, a
homemade firestarter kit, compass, maps of the area, BRIGHT PINK FLUORESCENT
Survey tape, 75 feet of braided (by me <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> ) 550 paracord, and a few other
goodies.

i got the wife a coach wallet,"sex & the city" movie, & a address book

i got tons of underarmor. this is good because i will be wearing it when i become a 2LT on the 15th of May!!!

I have a red & black Capote. I love my merino & cashmere sweaters too.


I just got one of those a couple days ago and I love it. Mine is OD. I got a good deal on it too, $50 shipped.

i got a new cycle jacket, a denim jacket, half an amp, a real big mug, and the dark knight on dvd.

also bought myself half an amp and a new wah pedal which arrived defective. the dog glows in the dark and the eyes are red LED's. not my pic.

I got to spend some quality time with my parents today and the wifes families yesterday and today, to me that is and was the greatest present. Now for the Christmas loot:
Cologne, book on firearms, a shirt some cash and a Visa gift card, house shoes (camo), a light weather jacket, movie passes, tooth brush (tradition from my mother), 4 packs of socks (I love new socks), and the wife helped out on a Smith and Wesson Model 27 in .357 mag with a 5" brl. It was a great Christmas.

To top it off I got my SOD on the 24th and my SY t-shirt on the 25th!
