Well, it looks like most who voted would prefer a sword first by over 2 to 1.
So what kind should it be?

Wouldn't a small chainsaw be lighter?

OOOOOOO your bad A big Regimental ceremonial Kukri <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

You they have to chop the head off an OX in a single blow for good luck with one of those.

That would make it an outstanding BBQ knife. But I am just a kook for kukris!

By BBQ knife, do you mean something to cut the mesquite for the BBQ, cause if you need something that big for your steaks, I'll be there for supper!

+1, the only criteria I have is, that it be a two-handed size handel and the rest I'll leave up to Dan.

I wonder if Dan has a facility to forge his steel? Seems like the machined stock removal process wouldn't work so well for making kukris without a large amount of waste.

For my wish, I'd really like a two hand broadsword. Heavy is OK <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Isn't the Scrapper 6 a steak knife? I was thinking of a kukri for both wood chopping and butchering the roast beast. I love kukris.

LOL! A Dog and his kukri - happiness! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> That is a great pic.

I have absolutely zero experience with a kukri. I'm going to have to get one the HI ones just to experience the power!

Kraz, I hear the HI kukris are outstanding. Some of my friends have them and love them. But wouldn't a Scrap Yard Kukri 12" to 14" blade with Res C kukri handle be cool? What would they call it? The Devil Dog?
