There already has been a contemporary gladius "the Applegate Smatchet.
The Condors are sucky machette's but I have aways liked that symetrical shape.
It is crying out for some moding maybe a wood handle? I have a katana project that is almost done that uses a cheness through hardened 9260 blade for it's basis and have been seriously considering using a Ruck as the basis for a matching wak.
