The glow in the dark arrowhead pulls are made by ITW Nexus Click Here , they also make all kinds of other cord ends, locks, buckles, whistles ans other items that work very well. The best thing about them is that they will send you fee samples

Here's an updated version of the ringbolt I did. Big improvement, believe me- it feels great.

And here's how to do it:

The one that Andy posted is the one I use. The first picture is if you want a loop and the second is if you don't, then go to steps 3 and 4.

I've used the ringbolt on a homemade staff;

but like said, on blades I only have used it on neckers;

honestly I don't even know, it was a tree in southern Ill that was over grown and needed to be trimmed, so I did!
it had several main limbs but this section I cut off had a nice straight run,
the leaves were very small and in clumps, like a fern.

I stripped it, dried it (for months) and even put a compass in the head!
it's held up very nice, strong and no rotting.

it's about 5'4" long.

Thanks, both of you. I am now awaiting my paracord to start working on my own staff/spear. I have been planning to do it ever since some of the posts in the outdoor forum were talking about animal attacks. Now, how do I fashion a system to fix the SOD to the end of staff...

Not yet, I'm still blueing the blade on mine. Once that's done I'll have to trim the handle a bit so that the wrap will grip better. I'll let you know when I'm done.
