you yankees must truly be accustomed to FRIGID weather.

its been extra cold this winter and i still dont even wear a jacket to go out, just my patagonia pull over fleece or a hoodie.

of coarse if i was spending time outdoors in -0 weather i'd need a coat but just to walk from my my car into work or to pump gas i just deal with.it only hurts for a minute.

i also ha ve a trunk full of winter gear from wool socks, gloves, hats, extra layering, cold weather sleeping bags, heat pack and winter jackets for both me and my son in case we ever got caught out there

Even down here just 29 miles from FL it was below freezing for 12 hrs here. That is very unusual for here. Most homes do not have protected pipes. I ran my pumps all night and dripped my faucets to keep my above ground service pump from freezing. There is another hard freeze warning for tonight. Global warming. Yeah, right.

Horn Dog, we didn't get any snow on the ground this year until just before Christmas... Usually we get it just before Thanksgiving, and once, for Halloween. With something as big as a planet, no system responds instantly. More what seems to be the trend for the moment is extremes in different places. Especially hurricanes, which have picked up in frequency quite a bit in the later half of the 20th.

Imagine dropping a bit of dye into a jar of water. It doesn't just instantly dissolve, it forms swirls and ribbons as it slowly disperses, showing local extremes until settling into a uniform color.

I don't think the CO2 concentrations in the atmosphere have near as much effect on climate change (which has been going on forever) as solar activity. I think man-made "Global warming" is all a hoax.

In Northern CA it hit a sunny 70 today. Read it and weep.

Had a very enjoyable extended 3 hour ride through the twisties to the coast for lunch with a couple motorcycle pals.
I am with you bro, killer weather up here lately although a storm is coming so looks like I will be camping this weekend in the rain....... looks like I will be leaving my uncoated steel at home for this trip.

Lol, I agree but I think it is more like a lie. AndyWayne posted some decent links to articles confirming our beliefs at the Swamp.
