...How does the 154CM stack up against the SR77? Different type steel altogether. SR77 is a shock steel, able to withstand lots of shock and lateral force on the blade. The 154CM is a premium stainless, often used in folders. It has superior edge holding and corrosion resistance to SR77, but not quite as tough. 154CM is a very good steel for this type of knife. Dan posted some pics of abuse testing Busse's 154CM, and it is plenty tough enough. Thanks HD. You all have been incredibly helpful since I found the forum. I'm excited to finally get a SY. | | |

Well I like it a lot. Jeff will have to make some more kydex for me. Those mudder handles fit me like a glove, and that is a very useful blade.
Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

Renee stop it. When we said we wanted more communication we didn't mean such a great offering. Stunning knife.

And stainless isn't a bad choice for a cutting work horse ++ mudder handles.

Now I need study this blade and see what it is all about. Here are some websites I've found; they are reviewing Nessmuk knives made by other manufacturers, but they talk about the history of the knife and the utility of the blade shape:http://www.oldjimbo.com/survival/racquette/nessmukbydale.html The blade shape and size seem to be an attempt to achieve a balance in performing multiple tasks as a field/hunting/general utility knife. While big choppers are fun, this is exactly what I NEED in a fixed-blade right now, and I feel fortunate that this happened to be what SYKCO decided to put out next.

It's no Khukuri or Sword, but still a pretty cool nessmuk. I've been very short on extra cash lately so I'm sitting this one out.

Soooo, in about ten days I can place an order? Then, when the knives are ready I will have mine shipped?
If that is correct it is basically like ordering a knife from Busse. Not like the Swamp, where it is like, "here they are get them while they last"?
