Thanks for the B-day wishes. The problem with having one's birthday on inaguration day is that I have to share the lime light every four years with some schmoe who managed to get more votes for the presidency than I did. Who'da thunk it possible.
I'm still around and I pop in to catch up on things from time to time. However, with no money to buy steel it can get somewhat disapointing and depressing from especially with new models in the offering.
I still haven't been able to find viable employment. The employment situation is quite scarry right now. We're hoping that my wife doesn't loose her position. If she does then we're up the creek so to speak. We're good until the new fiscal year (July 1st,) then the state will make more layoffs. We don't think she's on the chopping block as it's nearly impossible to find viable doctors and dentist who are willing to work public health. However, this is state government so anything it possible.
Being laid off does have its advantages especially during hunting season. My poor wife felt like a widow during archery season. She claims she was going to divorce me until she realized that she'd have to pay alimony.
peace
