I carry my Swamp Rat folder every day. It's S30V steel, but Busse's 154 CM would be fine with me. BTW, Bark River is doing a framelock this year---in house, not contracted out. I think the Rat Traps were contracted out to Blade-Tech. Nice flat, discreet linerlock with a large cutting blade. Once they break in, they are smooth as silk. I love mine.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

A Gerber EZ Out is my current EDC. A fixed blade is out of the question for a EDC in my case. A Scrap Yard 154cm folder would replace it in a heartbeat. I would even get a couple of extra for back up/replacement.

I love that idea. I know that my various Benchmades would go into a drawer.

So what would a SY folder look like? Would it have a Res C handle similar to this Kraton handled Gerber Gator lockback in 154 CM? Or would it have G10 scales like the RT linerlock?

Bors....your killin me here!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

A Scrap Yard FOLDER???!!!??!?!? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/loopy.gif" alt="" />

You're a hoot Bors! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

I guess we can dream but we all know the truth. If any Busse ever turned out a folder It'd have to be Jerry. His Hogs have begged and pleaded for years on end.

The Muk is a gift from the Gods to us. Sort of like the War Boar from Jerry. His Hogs screamed for it and he made it. The War Boars or Bors if you prefer were made by hand in Hell. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" />

I have NEVER seen a more evil cutting knife than it. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" />

Now if you wanted to stomp for a SR-77 Karambit that may actually happen.....probably when Satan skates on ice. But there is a minuscule chance none the less.

SR-77 folder.... Bors, that's a good one! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Glad to see your sense of humor is keen as ever! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
Thanks for the laugh my friend I needed it!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Peace.

HD, While I love the Res C on my fixed blades, I think G10 would be better for a folder. The handle on the Gerber Gator is too fat to be good for pocket carry.
