Right now a BridgePort 2008 Hop Harvest Ale, it's a pretty tasty Double IPA.

Cheers!

I've got 2 pounds of medium size shrimp, a horseradish root, a bottle of cocktail sauce and 12 Redhook Winterhooks in the fridge. Nobody I care about is playing so I'll just root for the underdogs.

I probably won't even watch it. Sometimes I watch it just to see the new commercials. The last game I watched was when the Colts won...

Well it's just me here. I've never tried Maker's Mark, but I was running low on Geo Dickel and picked some up the other day. I guess I'll find out soon enough how good it is. I think I'll pull for the Steelers just out of nostalgia.

I am looking forward to the commercials since they gave a preview last night. I had a drean last night that ScrapYard had a commercial during THE superbowl and it involved big horses, What a great dream

I guess it is time to switch the channel from AMC to NBC or whoever has the Stupor Bowl on it. I need something lighter. Been cleaning my 44, drinking whiskey and watching Death Wish . Makes me want to go downtown and walk around!

What type of .44? My favorite revolvers are Rugers; the triggers aren't as crisp as some, but I've never had problems with reloads through a Ruger. My .44 is a 7 1/2-inch 1980s Redhawk that I had magna-ported. I also own a long-barreled S&W Model 27 in .357, which I think looks prettier (the lines are classic), but it's picky about ammo.

As far as what I'll be drinking; I'm not sure if I'll go with anything stronger than diet Pepsi. I've been pretty tired and will be watching the game alone, I might have problems staying awake if I drink whiskey.

S&W Night Guard in 44 spl. It's a concealed carry lightweight, not a powerful hunting pistol.

I love this thread because it involves beer, Makers Mark, football, and some crawdad's! I got to admit that I really am not drinking much tonight as all I have is a little JD, some moonshine (great-grandfather's recipe), and misc. beers that are left from prior things. Oh well, some is better than none!

Well, I'm absolutely surrounded by drunks. I started cooking a whole hog, three briskets, and a bunch of whole chickens about 5am this morning(started the chickens later) so we started eating about 4pm. We started with about 10 cases of Shiner iced down and the girls are drinking Mudslides!

We're still pullin' for the Cowboys!!! YeeHaw!!!

Well don't know which I enjoyed more, the stupor bowl or Charles Bronson blowing away scumbags. I kept switching back and forth. Luckily, I missed springs teen at halftime. A dying cat sounds better.

I thought it was a pretty good game! I started it with a big salad, followed by a chicken dinner, all washed down with iced tea. My wife watched the game with me and enjoyed it as well, even though we don't really get big into pro sports.

It was a heck of a good game. Both teams went all out the whole time. This is what it is supposed to look like when the top two teams in the nation face off.

It was an excellent game. The only major thing I disagreed with was the fumble call on the Cards at the end of the game -- it sure looked to me as if his arm was going forward. That's why the ball went forward, not backwards. It was a close game and neither team gave up -- though the cards didn't win, they acquitted themselves well and have nothing to be ashamed of.

That was a tough call Jim. I think they just didn't have enough to overule the call. It was a better game than may thought. The catch in the end zone was AMAZING - tap-tap- catch- SCORE. Drank Coors light, smirnoff and frog island cream ale. On the menu was homemade summer sausage, bratwurst onion cheese and green pepper wontons, brisket, 3 hour chicken legs and black bean and pepperjack chicken burger sliders.

horn dog i've been watching all the DEATH WISH movies lately too.my old man got me into them as their a bit before my time.

as for me i drank about 3/4 of a bottle of HERRADURA tequila.i really cant remember the game and had to ask someone who actually won when i woke up today.not too hungover considering but thats the benefit to drinking a silver {clear}tequila, staying hydrated and not going to bed with a full stomach.

the blue label is the silver

I glad you're not hungover, nothern1. I never did finish my bottle of George Dickel, so I still haven't tasted the Maker's Mark yet. My late wife loved tequila, Margaritas. I drank too much of it once and never tried it again. More my fault than the tequila's.
Yeah, the "Death Wish" series was fun TV. If you have ever lived in such a neighborhood, you probably thought about doing a "Mr.Kersey" on the robbers and muggers.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

I didn't care who won, because *my* favorite team wasn't there. What I really needed was, at the end of at least one quarter, the Steelers' score to end in '3' and the Cardinals' score to end in '0'. We had a squares pool at work, and those were my random numbers. Since it was 3-0 Steelers at the end of the 1st quarter, I made $125.00 on a $5.00 buy-in. Hooray beer!
