I just canceled my order for the M9LE. It was hard for me to do, and almost brought a tear to my eye.
Enjoy every sandwich.

Economic realities have forced me to choose. I just think the HG55LE will be a great collectable. As for users and beaters, I have a trunk full of those. Besides, I'm sure to be tempted at Blade!
Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

But, my general concept for most of my collection is focused on knives that would/could and DO make excellent users.
I sort of want them to "justify" their value to their cost for my uses as well.
My thoughts exactly .

I understand entirely what you have said KG...and indeed I have had some exotic toys which the "loss" on could have funded a Busse collection of huge proportions...and I may have been much better off had I done this...but all told...it got some things out of my system and I am definately wiser and more content now...
On the knife front...I do have a lot of money in these...I don't mind if I use them...even the expensive ones...but just like KG I have some which are hard to move and some almost too expensive to use...I have selected one or two expensive customs which I do use and maybe it's time to move the others on.
Busse wise...trying just costs me on postage and duty...I am usually in and around getting my costs back...the price of not being able to handle them over here before you buy...but I am prepared to accept this...it is a lot better than simply having lots of money lost on the re-sale value!

All my knives are users or at least useful. But my daggers are just for sticking, so they just sit there. The HG55LE is a fighter that can also cut and do normal knife stuff. I have chopped with every single one of my choppers. And I will surely chop with the M9LE if I should get one in the future. It's just that right now I'd prefer an easy carrying nice belt knife to another chopper.
Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

sorry you guys had to cancel....i canceled mine too at first but then got some money so hopped back on the m9le train. i have never owned an LE and the M9LE is the chopper i wanted to have...i got the battle rat instead, but i think i will be happy with both...worst case scenario i keep the battle rat and sell the M9LE off....that battle rat is AWESOME......im really unsure how i feel about g10....it is sort of heavy...time will tell

Seems like people are losing interest. Any chance it will be renewed when they announce they're delivering? No need to reply, just think about it.
It is a little disappointing to see a product with a delivery timeline and not have it in your grubby paws when you thought you might. They did say "approximately" and today(?) is the the 4 week mark but it's a Sunday so... I'm new to the Bussekin and my short term plan includes this one so I'm holding. Now if the 6 week mark comes then I might be kicking myslef for not grabbing a NMSFNO if they're sold out...
Edit: my paws are as grubby as anyones'

Hey guys, lets not go nuts. The M9LE is a very desirable knife. I think it is beautiful. And honestly, that SR101 steel holds an edge better than just about any steel I can think of. I just had to cut back. I am glad mcj is getting one. Let the Rasta-Dog wail on some more wood with a shiny LE!

Yeah, the only reason I canceled was because of my crazy Desert Eagle impulse buy. That and car costs.
Enjoy every sandwich.
