REALLY what i need now are sheaths, and other knife acessories. i think i got all my knives covered. We will all eagerly await your chop fest, and the Bravo-1 is a nice blade, too. I have both the A2 and CPM154 versions.
Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

Well for me it is a case of too many buses (pun intended) coming all at the same time...if I had come to Busse about 2 months ago instead of 9 months ago...I would have had funds for a NMFBM LE, a NMSFNO LE...the HG55LE...the Zilla...and the M9LE...and that would be all my bases covered and I doubt I would need buy another knife.
Instead the secondary market prices on a lot of other knives have taken their toll...because even though selling is an option...their are losses of high proportions over here on duty/VAT and postage.
Buys for me since becoming "addicted" are:
Skinny Ash x 2 (sold one) Ash LE (sold) FFBM (sold) Jack Hammer BATAC LE (sold) FSH X 2 FBM satin combat grade NMFBM Basic 9 SJTAC Custom 3B2 NMSFNO
DFLE DFCG x 3 (sold two) DMDC (sold) YKCG (sold)
RMD x 2
Anyone want to do the maths?
On others
BRKT Golok BRKT Bravo 1 (sold) Hossum Retributions x 2
And on order is a HG55LE and undoubtedly a Zilla in due course...
So now I have really scared myself to death and confirmed I am in need of therapy....
What do I really want/need? One large, one medium, one small fixed blade....
Oh...and "NO REGRETS"...LOL....
Why do I torment myself doing lists like this???????
Look on the bright side....I have lost more in two minutes signing for a new car and driving it off the forecourt....( is that a bright side )

Hey gang, wasn't jabbing at anyone - on either end. Just presenting the notion of when something is available does it change perspective, and how long is anticipation good for(as a "high")?
So now do I calculate picking up an NMSFNO now because they're more likely to disappear first and an M9 later because they're just now being introduced, or...

I don't want to judge anybody's personal reasons for cancelling. I personally have my own finincial difficulties to contend with myself and have had to consider cancelling myself.
But, I do think the M9LE has GREAT potential to be a GREAT knife.
In spite of my troubled finances, I would rather order the knife, FIND a way to somehow pay for it (even though I personally fear contact from Eric right now as "right now" is NOT good), recieve it and then make a decision on wheather I can justify keeping or not - as opposed to deciding I want it later and having to contend with the secondary markets jacked-up pricing. As a pretty safe rule, these things go up in value on the secondary market when from Busse and kin.
And I am concerned that if everyone keeps cancelling their orders, I fear Jerry might reconsider the "Open window" policy for being able to order.... and going back to Bowls and Ganzaaas where many will miss out, a few will hord and be greedy to sell to those on the secondary market at jacked up prices and so on.
Just suggesting to really consider before cancelling.

VoxHog, the enabler. Let us know how it compares to the NMSFNO. I'm betting the NMSFNO isn't far behind it in chopping. I'm not sure that the M9LE is a user for me. My Satin Battle Rat is almost identical and that one is already a user so the M9 may be a Queen. I need to take out the NMSFNO (user) and compare it with the Battle Rat and Satin Battle Rat. But before I do that I need to put a nice convex edge on all of them and I have not had to time to mess with my belt sander and practice sharpening. On the belt sander side of things... I have the cheapo Harbor Freight 1"x30" but I get a lot of play/movement/vibration in the belt. Is it worth it to step up to something a bit nicer if I really want to apply a nice edge to my knives? I need a belt'sander sage to come to my aid!!!

I need a belt'sander sage to come to my aid!!! You mean some fool who has bought several of them? You can do pretty good work on a HF 1" x 30", but using good belts is the key. It will run smoother with good belts. And the HF sanders vary a lot. My old one is smooth, but my newer one is rough. The Delta is just a bit smoother. Stay away from the Chipping Away. It is the roughest of them all. The best one I have tried so far in the the 1" belt size is the Kalamazoo. It is simple, smooth and quiet. The platen is awkward to install and remove, but overall, I like it the best so far. Smooth is important when doing a pretty convex edge. I used the new Kalamazoo 1 x 42 to do this convex edge on my new Busse. ![[Linked Image from i173.photobucket.com]](http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w64/rivershaman/Busse/NMSFNO026.jpg)
