Glad I could help! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" /> So, how many M9 LE's are you getting? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Just one, and I don't need and can barely afford it! Fortunately, I am getting more sharpening jobs of late. I was going great in 2007, but last Fall, things just stopped. Sharpening other people's knives is how I feed my steel addiction!
But that new M9LE is a beauty, isn't it? What's the word on your RS bowies?

Any word from Mike on your custom bowies?

He should be letting me know tomorrow as to their status. I WILL post pictures as soon as they show up - I even made a couple of new sheaths for them! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Cool. Sometimes we just like pretty knives don't we? But with that 0170-6 steel, those bowies will perform. I assume yours are the older ones in Carbon V. Well, it is my bedtime. Take care Tom. See you at Blade!

Yes, they are the older Carbon V blades. Mike said the difference in performance is incredible, so we'll see. I look forward to seeing you again at Blade - maybe another steak and Sam Adams lunch?!? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Vic, thank you for the great pics! I went hiking on Saturday, but it was nothing like what you have. The snow melt water had ice on it in the woods and we kept breaking through.. It was all fun and games until my foot went through up to my knee in water, I landed on my knee on a log. It was still fun, but hurt as well. We built a fire to dry off. No pics though.

I always enjoy your pictures Vic, thanks for taking the time to post them.

Weather has been rainy here in Norcal this week. CA really needs the rain so this is a good thing. I just put my motorcycle in for service and it is now running like a top so I'm a little bummed I can't ride on the weekends.

We'll be moving to Montana at the end of the month so hopefully I'll have some hiking pictures to post from there real soon now.

I might be movin' to Montana soon
Just to raise me up a crop of Dental Floss Raisin' it up
Waxen it down
In a little white box
I can sell uptown
By myself I wouldn't
Have no boss,
But I'd be raisin' my lonely Dental Floss
Raisin' my lonely Dental Floss
