I've noticed Jack wearing some Maxpedition products. I wonder if that is product placement, or the show picked it. In the episode where they storm the building looking for the CIP device, I thought Jack might be wearing one of the new gear slinger bags:

but the next epidsode where they try to free the presidents wife, he is clearly wearing a Monsoon pack. so maybe I am mistaken about the earlier pack.

I emailed their customer service department and got this prompt response. The review that they sent me to is quite good.

Hi James:

JB is using Monsoon in both Episode 7 and 8. Tony Almeida is also wearing a black Monsoon in eposide 7

Sitka/Kodiak are our best and most comfortable Gearslingers to date. The Sitka is smaller than the Falcon. The Kodiak is larger than Falcon but smaller than Monsoon.

You can make a messenger a backpack, I don't know if a slinger is really either.

Jack needs the Horn Dog edition EOD bag. Just kidding. I'm looking real hard at Maxpeditions. They appear to be high quality.

I have a Jumbo Versipack. I love it & carry it every day. I don't usually carry it on me, I leave it in the car. I just got a good deal on a matching Rat Wallet to go with it. Ted has one and he said he likes his too.

Amazon had the khaki Jumbo on sale for $69.95. I just ordered it. I appreciate the recommendation, Andy.

I got mine on eBay for $55 shipped. It was lightly used, but a bonus was he replaced the zippers w/ custom 550 lanyards. It also has a handy pocket made for carrying your gun. And a water bottle pouch for your walk-abouts. Now we need Dan to make some SY velcro patches we can put on our bags. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
