want me to send you mine? you sold your stewart customized version?

Actually, it was made from a RS blank, but it is not a Recon Scout that you can go out and buy. It has a full zero edge convex grind. I thank you for the offer, but I have more than enough knives here to keep me busy.

Vic- you are actually going to USE a CRK Green Beret?? Are the mad? Just use that one for the chopping modeling clay part of the test... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

Got to say that line up of steel sounds AWESOME! Bring it on mate! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

And of course, Scrapyard Forever! Come on the SOD LE, kick all their monkey butts!

While the knives will all get some typical hard use, I don't do destruction tests. This comparison is unscientific. Which knife cut better, which one handled easier, and such. Unless some of them are seriously defective, I doubt that any will break or even have their edges damaged much. It really boils down to which one I feel best using for a given task, not which one is the toughest. There is no way to be completely objective. I already hate the balance and feel of some of them. But this comparison and my impressions will hopefully give the reader some idea of the knives relative capabilities. Also, I am going to separate them into the wide and narrow blade models. I know from experience that the wide bladed knives tend to chop better and the narrow ones tend to penetrate or stick better.

We've got Noss to break 'em Vic. You just give them a good using! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Yes. It sits in its lonely box. Let's see what it can do.

The Schrade can take a beating, though. No worries about a loose handle!
