Andy - the note about comics reminds me of a friend of mine when I was a kid. He was an only child - somewhat spoiled, and had a closet full of comics from the floor to the ceiling. To have those comics now!

My buddy was a Ghostrider fan...even has the glow in the dark issue...15 I think! He had the first 50 or so issues....I had many others...Lobo always a favorite and image was great in its early days.....Andy, did you play "crack the gathering?"

Nope, never heard of it. I have a lot of Spiderman, Wolverine, Gen13, and other assorted titles. I have huge binders full of comics cards, holograms, etc.

Actually it was called Magic the gathering...but to some it was like crack!

Oh, yeah, ok. I've heard of it. Yeah, I never got into gaming.

Im new here as well, and thinking about ordering a Scrapper6.
It looks like it is a great deal, i just wanted some of your opions on this knive.

Seriously, though...I think it was used once in a thread and kinda stuck. We don't have a handshake or uniforms or anything. We only use that phrase in threads where we invite others to join us for some trees n quiet.

How many pounds of knives do you have! Weigh in before and after you suit up.....How many knives do you normally carry?

There are some bits of information that I intentionally try to keep from myself...my own weight is one of them right now. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Usually when we go out, we go specifically to use, share and compare knives -- so we carry a lot. This last weekend I took seven blades including an AK. I'll admit, that is WAAAAAY too much steel for practical purposes.

For SAR missions, I'll take my Ratweiler (now maybe my SH2) and a Howling Rat and then I always have a Rat Shaker in my front pocket. (Before anyone asks the obvious...no, I'm not just happy to see you <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> ). Day to day, though, I carry my Rat Shaker and I keep a Game Warden in my bag.

someone was making fun of me the other da for carying four knives -- a big sheath knife which rotates based on requirements, inclination, weather,etc; a clip knife in each front pocket; and an ankle/boot knife. Usually i also like to have a small-to-medium sheath knife horizontal in the small of my back, for all sorts of misc. tasks...

You could use the 'ladderback' on the economy Scrapyard sheath to do a horizontal carry... That would be pretty useful!

Carefull GF you could auto Bobbit! OUCH!!!! Just fyi the Scrapper sheath does carry horizontally very comfortably, it may be my prefered carry for my S6!

I was one lucky SOB with that piece....It missed my "bits" by about 1.5" and passed directly between the sciatic nerve and femoral artery, it left only mild nerve damage on my left thigh and a subtle limp. I am trying to get xrays right now of it.

That's one area I really don't like getting x-rayed. Not a place you want a bunch of radiation. Might make ya sterile. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" />
