The Scrap Muk Le's had a limited number available and we planned on making an annoucement as to when the knife was going to come down, but we were hit with 1 VERY large order that made them become sold out! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" /> I apologize, but we also were not expecting that large of an order, it took us all by surprise! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

So those of you who did get 1 or more, that
knife is going to be very valuable on the secondary market.
Nice going to all involved.

If I have a concern, it's that knives which are supposed to remain in inventory for 4-6 weeks won't make it because somebody will place a large order and wipe them out. But isn't wiping them out precisely what the new business plan was designed to prevent? I mean, if knives are built to order, what difference should it make how many knives are ordered? Scrap Yard should be able to build as many knives as they need, right? Or are we still going to have to deal with fixed inventories and be concerned that knives may suddenly disappear without warning before their expected 4-6 week life span elapses?

Somebody talk me down here . . . <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

My guess is that's it's a somewhat unique situation, being LE's and all.

I'd bet that a CG version of a Scrapper would be less likely to be affected in this situation... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crossfingers.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crossfingers.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />

Maybe they like a little mystery...

I'm just glad they are releasing!!!!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Please please please keep releasing!!! One of the few joys during this economical slump is the thought of performance to price in the form of wonderfully crafted steel!

Sorry, Dogs are known for their begging.

HA! That means I get a discount cuz I have the card. Plus free shipping promo code, still not worth missing it. I'm glad I ordered mine early, $99 for a scrapper is always good!
