i know its a silly question but if you had to pick one scrapyard knife to fight one-on-one with to the death which would it be.again,i know its a silly question.
i was just holding my S6,thinking that it would make a decent "fighter" and started wondering if i would rather use something along the lines of an S6,YH or something larger like the DFLE or DFCG.

maybe some would rather prefer something even smaller like the DMLE or BDLE.i always thought the BDLE would be a wicked little self defense piece.

I'm torn between the DFLE and the YG. The DFLE is a very lively blade and it would provide some reach advantage, but the YG is a bit faster in my hand, and MUCH more handy with grip changes.

I've never thrown the DFLE, but the weight and dimensions make it seem like a better thrower from my experience. It also sports a much toothier edge compared with my YG, which I would want. I know that can be set up however you like, that's just how mine are right now.

Is it bad that I can still think of these things after another day of debauchery and watching Bacchus?

I would venture the Scrapyard Yard Hook
would be the best of the Scrapyard knives as a fighter.
It has that "hook" which is a blade catch.
Another knife blade sliding down your blade would be "caught"
and you could,in a twisting motion, disarm your opponent.
Me,I'd run... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Fu has the right idea - RUN! There is no "glory" in getting cut-up in a knife fight, even if you "win". <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbdn.gif" alt="" />

That's why I prefer a 12 gauge shotgun! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

To the death can mean several things.

If you mean to the death in a battle against the elements well any busse will do... I like the DF or the DFLE but the S6 would also be a good choice.

In a dual to the death well the DFLE would be the first choice. It would be great if Dan released a dueling specific large bowie knife along the lines of a hells bells or something like that.

JYD#14 Do you need one, of course you do it's a knife and you like knives.....

I'd use my DFCG to make a spear, and use that instead. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
