Yeah, that Murse is the ticket. I got the less expensive Maxpedition model.

I also weigh around 300 and mine fits just fine too. If you want a little more strap room, you can add a Janus extension pouch.

I carried it again this morning on my walk. This bag is great, but I need to rig up a way to carry more water. 28 oz is not enough in the heat.

I chopped out some more fat lighter and gave it to the girl scout leaders who are camped there.


I also gave them 2 SAKs new in the box to award as prizes to the best in their land navigation excercise for today. Anything I can to change the stupid park rules about no knives. Is the Camp Commandant going to kick out the Girl Scouts? The ladies seemed pleased to get them.
