So the patina made the blade a darker gray? Looks good, matches the handle!

I have cheap kitchen knives for fast and dirty jobs. Slicing a sandwich, chopping one onion. Those I run through the dishwasher. It’s convenient. When necessary I spend a few bucks to get another set.

If I’m doing a real cooking job I used my good knives, and hand wash them afterwords. Dry them immediately, put them away.

you think that looks good, check out my 'private reserve' rack. Cooked right along side, but not for public. Moped hourly in the smoker with a solution of about 40% butter, 10% olive oil, 35% apple juice, 15% spiced Capt. Morgans Rum

Bloody Muk? Not really... anybody skin a carcass or butcher an animal with the knife yet? When I get my knife I'll butcher a goat or chicken with it and snap some photos.
