Should I buy this thing??? Im REALLY thinking about it.... Like more than I have any Busse... Even more so than that FFFBM i let creep away bc i just cant afford to pay 500 bucks for the thing... But this thing is in my price range... And it looks like a tough knife. Do you think that it will be as tough a knife as the s6? It appears to be the same size in thickness... Also, the striations on the blade... will this sacrifice toughness at all?

I think i might go ahead and get one tomorrow.... But my understanding is that they dont have any right now "in stock" rather they just make them as they are ordered... That was the case when i ordered the NMSFNO. Amy said they werent going to bill me till it was made. I was upset because i thought since they had it on their site that that meant that they had them IN STOCK but they didnt.

will this be the same case with the HG55? I hope not. If they are in stock now, I will be more likely to buy one.

i dont think they sacrifice toughness but make the blade lighter and quicker in the hand.

I believe your correct in that they are made to order.
But my nmsfno only took about 8 days to my house
under the same circumstances.

Yeah, no blades are in stock, but they are rather made to order.. go ahead and order one man! It's not like you can't sell it again if you really don't like it.

I think you will like it alot! I can't get one though, I am in hyper save mode for Blade 09'...it's tough.

Enjoy every sandwich.

I was starting to think I was the only one who liked the HG-55!Glad to see it gaining acceptance I think it looks like a great mid size blade, along the Ratmandu lines.
