TOlly how much was the kydex sheath from Jeff?
Pink, thanks man Sorry man, I don't remember. I don't usually worry about that with Jeff. His prices are extremely fair and you are going to get WAY more sheath for the money than you will from anyone else. Those two knives and sheaths are in Afghanistan right now with my little brother. As I mentioned in my other post the D-Mutt and sheath pictured fell about 35ft to the rocks when the Tec-Lok holding it to his vest broke after being hit by another piece of gear during a Fast Rope insertion. He said the knife didn't even come out of the sheath!! He just picked it up, and lashed it back on with some 550 cord and kept on going.

+1 on Jeff's sheaths.. My SOD sheath he made for me is perfect! Exactly what i wanted.. Just PM him and he will give you a quote.

Tolly, thats an amazing story man... It really is... See, i will be taking the DMCG with me and I am leaning ore towards getting a kydex for it than leather.. but leather is nicer IMO for EDC... But I guess that is completely subjective.

Wel,, I just got back from the Post Office and mailed the guy his Money Order for the DMCG!!!! It will be there in 2-3 days, cuz I mailed it priority. So, I should have the Mutt by the end of this week!

Yea, I think thats more "tactical" whatever that means... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> Plus I think it would look better on my LBV anwyays.

Got it settled with Rainwalker.... Getting both a leather sheath for my S6 and a leather one for my DMCG. Ill get kydex later, prior to deploying. I can use the leather sheath in the field, stateside.
