Simon I am sorry to see this. Please contact Renee and she will take care of it. Some times a very small bubble will form in the steel and it is usally not an issue...unless its close to the edge

happened to me with a swamprat crash axe which i smade of the same steel.

and while mine wasnt nearly as big i had a small chunk come out of a DFLE as well.i think that was a tiny air bubble.

both got replaced and i had'em back within 2 weeks total time in both cases.

they do stand behind their product which is one of the reasons we buy it and what separates scrapyard knives from the rest of the pack.

Do any of the other Busse steels have the bubble problem?
