I don't know. I have no idea what the requirements are to be a HOG. I may be rejected for all I know. I know I have enough Scrappers to be a Dog, though.

HD I think 8 will be plenty. I have half that and I will pick up another or 2 at Blade. I am going to plead my HOG case to Jerry himself; driving down from PA for that reason. I was going to do it via E-mail before the cupid ganza, but I would rather do it in person.

As to the question of why you want to be a HOG I said: Because I want to be in the super secret club too! I want to be able to get in on the HOG only deals. I've been hanging out at the Busse table at gunshows since before INFI - very early 90's. I'm the creator/owner of BusseKinExchange, which is a free outlet for knife trading. It currently has 243 members. (near 300 now) I made the Pork Links page as an orderly gathering of info for knife newbies. I have hoggish knife buying tendencies. I have repeatedly overdrawn my bank accounts to the max to get more money to buy knives at the 1500 (just ask Mike Wood) I've spent much time scouring the for sale boards for under priced knives that I could buy and resell for a higher cost to create extra $ to buy more knives. Guess I don't have enough knives...and this is just the ones I've KEPT. After reading these posts, I may not be inducted, but I'd still like to have some fun there at Blade. My future knife buying will likely be much less than in recent years. I mean, just how many knives do I need? And I have admitted to buying other brands on occasion as well. But if anyone ever asks me about INFI my answer is that is the best knife steel I know of. For many knives, other fine steels will do well enough for me. Since I have well over $2000 worth of INFI, that should count for something, right? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
