I will make to blade or knobcreek one of these years. it is my life long dream. I haven't run into the Scrap Yard crew at Knob Creek, but Garth, Drew, and some of the other Busse Combat crew should be in attendance. Also, though the Scrap Yard folks don't normally make the trip, they usually send steel (last Fall was a larger windfall than most shows, but they usually send something to make the trip worthwhile). Who knows, now that they're based in OH, it's a lot shorter trip than TX was.
