Thanks for the compliments everyone. Hopefully I can finish my pikal this weekend and they are off to HT.
I got an email from a member on bladeforums saying how he really likes my knife and wants to order one. I'm real happy he likes it but I didn't plan on making any to sell, it was just suppose to be for personal use, but I guess the idea of having people use my knife is pretty cool.

*Small update* Yesterday I had a couple hours to grind so I started working on my general utility knife. The plunge line and convex grind came out good and I had a real hard time with the tip but it worked out in the end. This is my best job I've done so far and I can see the improvement from my last couple grinds. It's a lot of fun and I'm learning a lot. Here's the old and current picture. I have to share the camera so this is the best quality picture I could get out of my webcam. ![[Linked Image from img.photobucket.com]](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v302/MRpilot/my%20knives/IMG_2785.jpg) Looking good, Mr. Pink.
Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

That's some nice GCM and handle ergonomics. I can't wait to put some on mines. The general utility knife, I'll keep relatively simple, but for the pikal, I have this idea in my head that should bring out the patterns nicely.
BTW, what grinder do you use?

Nice work MrPink. I finished my first kit and have recently started two more...The next step after these will be to build from scratch - no kit. I'm very concerned about how the metal work will go...It will be much harder than just working with the handles.
I found the most difficult aspect of the handles was making the two sides perfectly symmetrical. How do you guys do that? I'm not using jigs or machinery other than my drill, belt grinder and buffer.
Thanks and nice work!

If I ever get an area set-up at the current living establishment I am going on a spending spree for some tools and a new reloading machine. I am really digging your blade designs too.
