I wasn't happy with the pikal's handles so I contoured it some more today. It's much rounder and fits the hand better now.










I might do the same rounding on my general utility knife, but haven't made a decision yet.

excellent work! one thing missing IMO, take a countersink and run it in the thong hole for a smooth finish.

art - yeah, it's only sharpened on one side, the straighter side. no false edge or anything like that either.

fastcamo - i agree, i need to pick up a countersink. I tried to go cheap and picked up a stone cone shaped bit for my dremel to try and do it, but without a way to secure the dremel, it bounced uncontrollably.

My first try at kydex, no more cardboard sheaths.




I made some minor modifications to my pikal's handle, still need to hand sand it. Also, I made a major change to my necker, I didn't like the original wide blade so I turned it into a mean little recurve; it was also my first recurve so it's rough.




It's a three finger knife, but fits very secure in my hands.




Experimented with rounding all the exposed steel, including the tang. Definitely helps it feel better in the hand.
