That's precisely my interpretation as well, HD. Deliberate obfuscation to make the reveal more dramatic and fun. I absolutely ate that up. Can't wait to get one. It's a fantastic design, made from of legend steel, and it has those awesome mudder handles (I still can't get over how great the mudder grip is). This is going to be a great knife. I have to see what prices look like but I'm tentatively prepared to get a keeper and a beater, so if anyone out there is trying to gauge interest levels, put me down as a "probably two".

Speaking of which, when can we ORDER some <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Holy smokes, I'm away from my computer for a day and this develops! I'd stay away more often, but I'd be afraid of missing my chance to get an INFI SCRAPPER 5!!!!!!!

Yep. I wouldn't be late to this party, that's for sure. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

You think we'll get any warning before they go on sale?

If the SAR5 with "micarta" handles was $167.00...., I am trying to be hopeful about S5 and S5LE pricing. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

.

Exactly, with Micarta grips and no choil to be competition for the SAR5,the S5 would have to be at a real good price !!!!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

I thought trolling was when you post something in a negative way to promote something in bad light ?
Showing the S5 in such a great pic can only help sales eh ????? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

I just love the way you think! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

Good... so let's stop all this non-sense about $189.95 - $200 range stuff. That is TOO high!

I can't help but see the S5CG go for around $149.95 or so, but I am REALLY hoping to see the LE stay close to $169.95! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crossfingers.gif" alt="" />

I have said it before, I will say it again, a $20 upcharge for satin finish on a smaller blade such as this S5 is PLENTY fair and still profitable for the maker.

I see Dan as already stuck numbers on the blade, so I guess they want to make it seem "Limited". But, personally, I don't really care about numbers and calling it "LE". Just make it "SATIN" at a reasonable price and I am good. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

.

JYD #39 I prefer "SATIN" blades!!!
