Personally I don't think you need ALL that much. Just a couple of diamond hones, or one dual grit one and maybe something to strop it on (cardboard notebook backing will work) and you will be good to go, but you gotta become proficent with what ya got.

I have a couple courser diamond stones and some Arkansas stones--not to mention porcelin cups. Just reason to buy a few more things LOL.
