Bruce.... need we remind you that the SS4 was INFI and if you are hoping the S5 will be INFI, you need to check your meds.
I wish and would pay a bit more (although I still might balk at $189.95 for a S5LE even "IF" in INFI), but you are dreaming.

Are you suggesting that the Scrapper 5 will be INFI? I am not psychic. Please share your "out of the box" reasoning with us.

Bruce, your starting to make sense to me.
No announcements on the steel used on the S5 right? Dan and Jerry like to play games and often don't give specs, lengths, thickness, material, etc.... withholding info on steel isn't out of character here. This is going to be too big a seller for Jerry to authorize INFI.

Well... feel free to launch an all out dream promotion for INFI. Although, whatever it is, it ALREADY is.
I have to go now.

What is the point in using the much more expensive INFI when you have a yard full of 154CM?

For the record, I would LOVE this knife in INFI. But, even then, my finances are VERY tough right now and $189.95 is still pretty steep for me even if INFI.
But, here is another reason I am SURE it won't be INFI: Do you REALLY think there will be a Satin LE INFI from the Yard ????? - When Jerry typically charges $200 - $330 upcharge for satin blades???? ....I don't think so.
Notice NO satin LE's for the SS4 (except for mine! )

We will all know the truth soon enough. Logically, both versions of the S5 would be SR77, because there has never been a Scrapper in 154CM that wasn't a satin LE. I just can't see them painting a stainless steel blade. There is no reason that the same blade could not be made in both SR77 and 154CM, but it does seem unlikely. I think an INFI blade is unlikely, but not impossible. One polished and one painted. I guess we will find out Tuesday or so.
