By looking at the Bar graph - you can tell which of the 2 most are buying - I just thought it would be interesting to also see how many are getting both...I can read through the posts for that info though.

The CG for sure because it's SR101.
The LE if it's INFI and I can afford it.

We apparently (????) know the CG will be SR-101.

But, without knowing what the LE will be or what the LE prices will be, it is hard for me to say.

As far as 154CM vs. INFI, I easily prefer INFI, but I "DO" appreciate 154CM and consider it a very reasonable choice for this knife. However, it STILL just comes down to pricing.

I am generally ALL OVER satin finish if the price is right. (Typical Busse/INFI satin prices are NOT right for me and I pretty much always have to by Buss/INFI CG). But, Scrap Yard satin prices have generally been worth the extra $20 - $30.... excpet (for me) the first DMLE was WAY high, it did come down to VERY well priced though. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

I am REALLY hoping for a good price on the S5LE. I can appreciate a higher price for INFI over 154CM. But, still, the price has to be right for me.

Assuming a certain reasonable price on the CG, I am most likely down for a CG in SR-101 and will have to just strip it myself.


But, I will have to wait to see pricing before I know what I will do on the LE's.

Nothing wrong with stainLess, but I like a little, or maybe a lot, of character to my blades. I maybe don't use ALL my blades, but they are user blades. I don't like wall hangers. Heck, even my WWII wakash waka ah heck short sword is a user

Like my dilemma when the SOD was issued I have to have one of each (CG and satin). One to use and one to put away to stay virgin until I decide to sell or give as a gift. Will have to have them in my hands before I decide which I'll use.
