I'll just be happy with my Busse SAR7. Not available in stores.

An INFI Bravo 1 sounds like a good idea to me..

Well now you know Jerry is not going to sell Mike any INFI. You can get one in CPM154. I like the SAR5 better than the SAR4, but that's just me.

I've got a CPM154 Bravo 1 (in orange G10), great knife but it came blunt as a Badger's butt!

$400 for a little 4.875" blade these days..... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

and $2,100 for longer knives.... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

I see a BAD pattern for INFI and Busse knives.

I may have all the INFI I will ever have at this rate... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

WAY to rich for me! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/sad.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" />

I hope those prices don't carry over to the Yard!!!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crossfingers.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/sad.gif" alt="" /> I still hope for the S5LE in INFI, but I am VERY worried about it's price.

.

Me too, with those crazy numbers...

It's a nice knife, but I'd rather have the NMSFNO for $70 less.

When I first saw it, I figured a CG would be closer to $200...

Guess it's not meant to be! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

I wouldn't mind getting my hands on some INFI, but 400 bucks for that blade is knee-slappingly hilarious.

I noticed they are still available on the store - I imagine it'll be a while before these guys sell out <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />

At this point, I think I'd be perfectly happy with a SR-101 S5, thank ya very much. If INFI is available, and I manage to snag one, that's cool too, but I won't cry if I have to "settle" for the less expensive CG.

You heard what Dan said about pricing and what his hope were, so lets just keep positive thoughts that it will be around what he said.

If the Scrapper 5 LE was 400 bucks I would never buy another Busse product. Luckily it won't be. I expect less than 200 by enough that people will be happy.

I think the price of the SAR4 at $397 plus shipping which is the same as the HG55 LE needs to be reviewed with the prices for comparable INFI knives size wise on the secondary market....the BAIII, the Tanker A, the SHBA, these knives are fetching around $700 on the secondary market...and compared directly to the HG55 LE it has more machining on the rounded spine and is only .5 inch smaller blade.

But the blade has advantages for me over the HG55 LE in that it is .22 thick and not .25 so it is lighter and more suitable for all round use....and whilst I would agree an INFI S5 LE would be more attractive size and shape wise...I am unsure that getting INFI cleared will happen...but if so and if Dan can bring it at the price indicated it will be a very sought after knife...maybe the most sought after ever...so competition for them will be pretty intense...flippers will be very interested I am sure and because it is an LE there could well be a lot of people missing out...so a SAR4 is a hard one to pass on if like me you have wanted an INFI RMD style knife for a good while...but I agree that prices are getting noticeably high...although still cheaper than buying an old classic INFI blade of similar size.
