.....and I thought I wouldn't be interested since I already have 4 Bussekin 5" knives. Like they say, "never say never". <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
I guess I'm the only one who'd like to have this knife in a stainless version. If the LE turns out to be 154CM I'll probably get two.
A black CG and an LE.

If you don't sharpen your axe from time to time, you will soon be chopping with a hammer.

That is the coolest midsize knife SYKCO has made so far, IMO! Wow! I love it. And for those who may have worried about thickness for lateral strength, the saber grind handles that "problem" nicely. And mudders with SR101. Fantastic. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> Good point HD... I like the saber grind very much so. Dan, great work!!!!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif" alt="" />

I woke up this morning from a dream about this knife--no kidding. There is so much to like about the S5. This will be my first Bussekin in the 5" range so I am really looking forward to it.

I guess I'm the only one who'd like to have this knife in a stainless version. Not true. I'd buy one, but not if it costs more than a CG. And as someone else mentioned, why should it? The S5 isn't that much larger than the Scrap Muk. And the Muk cost less than $100.00. Good point.

SR-101 is just far too tempting, and even if a stainless LE version cost LESS than the SR-101, I still wouldn't buy it. I can get 154CM blades from lots of companies, without having to jump through hoops waiting for limited time releases and F5ing an order page to get my knife. If I'm going to order from the Busse kin companies, and the knife is available in one of the steels the family is known for, I'm going to get that steel. SR-101 all the way for me (and hopefully INFI too!) But back to the Muk, I wonder if they will have any at BLADE....

Bussekin 154CM is a different beast from other companies 154CM.. It has the Busse heat treat and is a lot tougher.. I'm still down for an LE in 154CM.. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />
