I wouldn't call myself a professional, CMM. I'm an informed amateur at best.

Nonsense, bruce is as close to pro as it gets on SY forums

Oh I don't know even if the LE is 154cm it still takes more labor to make than the the CG so to me extra cost would be justified. if the issues and details can be worked out it looks like it will most likely be made from INFI and if the cost is less than $200 well that's having your cake and eating it to. If they cant work out the details and it's made from 154cm that works also since Busse 154cm outperforms mainstream 154cm.

JYD#14 Do you need one, of course you do it's a knife and you like knives.....

The way I see it I have never used a handle of a knife to pound something, and I don't plan on it either. The mudder grip will be a lot more beneficial IMHO.

True. But would you say that Busse 154cm outperforms SR101? And if not, are you willing to pay more for the Busse 154CM just because Dan put more labor into making it shiny?

I still want a shiney one to go along with the my SOD LE and MUK, but I can see where the argument is that 154CM is not that much better of a performer in the 5" blade.
