$200 for a mid size rat knife??? Hasn't Eric seen the Badger Attack? Wow! And the DF was only $140 and will spank the living daylights out of it.. It is nice but I got a Busse coming. I'm saving my $ for the DFLE.

good call, so true.
As I recall, the Mischief 6 went for around $170 so the difference in price given the blade shape, length, and thickness is not way out of line versus other recent Rats. The Mojo's blades are substantially longer (6.75 vs. 5) and thicker (.25 vs. .187) than the CG BATAC. Yes, the BATACs are INFI and INFI steel commands a premium, but there's still an almost 15% price premium for the CG BATAC versus the Mojos. And that assumes you didn't upgrade the handles or buy the LE. I've found that all the Busse knife companies products are superb. IMO its hard to go wrong with any of the choices...except perhaps with your spouse <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" /> SYK products are the clear price/performance leaders and not surprisingly also the most spouse friendly <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> I hope I can pick up a Scrapper 6 in the ganza!

Bigocean there should be normal run S6's around again, Dan has said so in the various threads- the ganza is just a good way to grab a S6 without the wait..
Out of the 2 the S6 is the one not to miss imho.. But then that will return soon so perhaps get the DF as well for posterity?

You're absolutely right, Kraz. My point was specifically aimed at those who don't already own an INFI knife. IMHO, those who haven't experienced INFI and are ready to spend $200.00 plus on a non-INFI knife, ANY NON-INFI KNIFE, owe it to themselves to consider spending 15% more to get a BATAC CG while they're still available from the factory.
