I took this pic from Lunde's B/F post...I am sure he won't mind...it offers an excellent perspective on how big this knife is...it is a fair bit bigger than I had at first expected...compared to the BATAC CG and the SFNO LE you can see it will be a potential "one carry" do it all knife...whereas I had it more pegged as a second knife...which on chopping it might well be...but it is a "beefy" 5 inch blade....

Dang, it's bigger than I thought it was. It's almost as big as the BATAC.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

I have'nt got a comparison of the RMD with anything there individually but here is one of it with the 3B2...which is about the same size as the ASH in the photo...it looks like the SAR4 is a fair bit "beefier" than the RMD...although it's not easy to see here for sure...

I might have a pic of the RMD against a SFNO LE...which might be a better comparison...but all told the BATAC is a fair bit oversized to the RMD...or at least the LE version was which is the one I had...so maybe this knife will be less of an INFI RMD comparable than I had first thought...more of a heavier weight option in it's own right.

Hmmm, maybe I am starting to like it more as I see it more? Too many options out there with the Bussekin.

here is a comparison shot of my RC5 with my BATAC, I am excited about the size of the SAR4, just scored one via trade so I am pretty pumped.

thanks guys, I am pretty excited, the size is perfect for what I want, the price was high as to be expected for their blades and there was no way I could slide this purchase past the wife without having her use it on me so it all worked out in the end. I am looking forward to playing with it when it arrives, alongside my new Scrapper 5 LE <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Congrats SB! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" /> I like the size and look of the SAR4, but with the S5 coming I've decided to resist the urge to buy one for now. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> It does keep callin me though... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/doh.gif" alt="" /> Must resist! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/banghead.gif" alt="" /> Must resist! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/banghead.gif" alt="" /> Must resist! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/banghead.gif" alt="" /> Must resist! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/banghead.gif" alt="" /> Must resist! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/banghead.gif" alt="" />
