I'm sort of a gun collector/accumulator. I've got "a few".

Typically, I pull the "toys" out and clean/inspect them on a "rolling" basis.

I had the camera out, I figured I'd snap a few pix...a bit sunnier than I like for taking pix...but pulled a few of the toys out anyway. Here's a couple that I hadn't taken recent pix of, and since I had them out for inspection....

I love guns, but blades are quickly taking my love. I guess between the price of ammo and the lack of cheap kits made me loose some of the love. I don't remember off the top of my head how many FALs I put together back in the good day. At one time I was even into the Valmets, but after not being able to find parts readily available I got out of them.

I love the STG-58 and Izzy Carbine, the M1A is nice but I have to say that the G-43 is the piece that speaks to me the most. If that thing could only talk.

She's a shooter too. Groups well with both Romanian and Greek surplus. Of course I've installed a Waffenfabrik Apfeltor adjustable gas system and Wolf springs in her, just to be safe. I got the G43, one of my "Holy Grail" rifles from a friend in trade for a Swedish AG-42b Ljungman and a couple hundred dollars. I had a spare Ljungman and he had a spare G43. It was a match made in heaven

I don't shoot it as much as I used to, as it's gotten so valuable I'm afraid to break a part!

As to shooting in general, I'm hopeful that the "ammo shortage" will subside somewhat, as I still love to shoot, but it has become expensive. I may actually have to start reloading, something I've put off for years despite haveing numerous old military rifles in "odd" calibers.

Milsurps are my first love, but I could see where knives could sneak in there as well. Like my guns, my knives need to be made to use, not just look pretty, so I guss that's why I like the Scrap Yard stuff so much.

Wow! That's some nice hardware you've got there. There's a few I've owned out of what I saw, plus a couple more. I use to work at a gun store and played with almost everything that came in the door. There were some weeks that I came home with a gun instead of a paycheck. Ahhh...the good old days! Which was only a couple years ago. How time flies.

Hey Pitbull.....Beautiful NM M1A! I have a Loaded, and I just scored a Match Grade M1 Garand. Nice spread.

Very well. I haven't tried any long range shots, but once I took a shot at a metal fence post from about 150 feet away with open sites and without my glasses on and I hit it. It was steel core ammo, (.308) so it went right through it & into the tree behind it.

Nice collection! I haven't gotten into guns so much yet because I can't really afford it right now. But I'll definitely get some soon.
