I have some Colibris, but I had reservations about them having adequate penetration to kill. They are very quiet, though. Thanks for the 'possum test.

A friend of mine has a surplus store, I actually hang out and work at when I have time, and he ordered a few of those cheap Bud K throwing ax's. Well we were on his porch one day and he had one with him for some reason when this tom cat came along. Now Mark throws the ax, cat jumps sky high and misses. We get the cheap ax and it is all messed up. Moral of the story--DON"T BUY BUD K!

I've been using CBs on the voles. They're great for this kind of pest-in-the-front-yard task. I've heard louder pellet guns.
