Jerrwhy - I am also with you on this one, as I already have both models. This is a GREAT opportunity for those Dogs who missed the initial offerings!! Good luck to those in need!!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crossfingers.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> Tom

I am sitting this one out as well. I just got my DF monday and the sheath yesterday so the thrill has not come close to wearing off. Also there is no way in hades I could afford a S6 right now. If I did not have an M6 I would be at the pawnshop though. I will buy an S6 on the next run though. I am tempted more by the Busse actually as my Busse collection has one of everything major. For EDC I have the SS4 with INFI, mudder, kydexface sheath and for a 6 inch I have the M6 with SR101,micarta and a Leatherdog sheath and for the Bowie I have the mighty Dogfather in S7 ,Res C and a nylon(but not nylonface)sheath. The only thing my Busse collection is missing is a busse.

Hello Dogs,

I am new here and would really like a Scrapper 6 as my first Scrapyard Knife.

Thanks Tom for the Encouragement. You all seem really friendly here. I am looking for a good fixed blade that will last forever.

Hopefully, it's not the same time as the Busse Ganza. That would be VERY taxing for me.
How much stress can a dog take, anyway? I still have a FBM, DF, and Satin RD to pay on ONE credit card bill! And my flood insurance is due for renewal. Decisions, decisions. I should be ok by DFLE time.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

Jim - the Scrapper 6 fits that description nicely, and for a bigger blade the DogFather is the PERFECT choice!! I have both blades (I proposed the DogFather's name), and they are great!!! You can't go wrong with either one.

This forum IS a friendly place, with lots of great folks posting. We really welcome and encourage new people here, so please feel free to jump in at any time!!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> Tom

Thanks guys. Tom, I really like the name Dog Father and it seems really appropriate when you look at the DF. You did a good job naming it.
