I was glad to see we pulled this off and re-enforced that we can still handle our business - nothing we didn't know. The pirates will be more bold and I think the best defence is detection and pre-planning. There will be no more stalemate negotiating on thier side however!
Also would tip my hat to the Indian Commando units and nice job to the French as well!

Way to go SEALS! As far as being threatened by these pirates, I say bring it on! Lets pull out our BIG STICK (Theodore Roosevelt) and start whacking em like moles!

Teddy Roosevelt knew how to run a country--that is for sure.

I may not always agree with the leadership in our country (present and/or past), but I always support our men and women. Thank you RS, and all the others that have, are and will serve our nation

its nice when political correctness BS and red tape dont get in the way and we get to put bullets down range and send the right message.
i guess now the pirates are saying that for revenge they are going to target US ships more than ever.we'll see.
i'm pretty sure that these ships arent allowed to have firearms on them.i guess you have to shoot flare guns and fire extinguishers at them.friggin "skinnies"
the only way to stop this whole pirating thing in that region is to hit the pirates at on land at there home or base or area of operation.the only problem is that Somalia and we're not going to do that again, although i think that sendsthe wrong message,it send the message that if you have a lucky day and bloody our nose good enough we wont come back.
time will tell.go SEALs

We all knew the pirates/terrorists were going to respond this way. A contingent plan should have been put in place--and action if need be.
I don't think we will see boots on the ground in that region anytime soon.

No "recognized" boots will be laid on that soil.....I don't want to think about the catalyst that would require that reaction. That not to say an anonymous three lettered agency won't kick the can around.
