Right now I just can't decide if I should sell my Glock 19 and add some cash to "upgrade" to a 1911 9mm. I can carry the 19 concealed on my 155 pound 6 foot frame and fear I wouldn't be able to pull that off with the 1911. That is why I traded off my 17c for the 19 in the first place.
The 17c was great though, I shot more rounds through it than anything else I have ever owned. 10,000 plus and that is not an exaggeration. Before, I traded it off I added a Lone Wolf tungsten guide rod and new factory spring. I never shot it with the add-ons though.
In all honestly though none of them get as much actual carry time as my Airweight. However, I HATE to shoot the Airweight.
Decisions, decisions. Any thought guys?

If you want a 1911...keep saving. It isnt like they are going to be affected by any upcoming bans.

Ya, the thing is I'd like to have the 1911 "now" lol. Glocks are pretty easy to find too and there might be a deal on a 1911 for me. Heck, you can walk into 9 out of 10 guns stores around here and pick the model Glock you want for 500-530 bucks. With a CHL you can walk out with it in 5 minutes flat too.

9mm 1911 is a pleasure to shoot but you have cut your magazine load by half for a single-stack pistol. I know S&W is coming out with a 9mm in a 1911 this year, so that might warrent a look.

oooh I like handguns I just got one at this point but ti is a spectacular weapon. It is a Springfield XD-45 acp Tactical. 9mm 1911 is a pleasure to shoot but you have cut your magazine load by half for a single-stack pistol. They cut the capacity down by 40 percent for the 15 round model 19 magazine to 9 round 1911 magazines. I was doing some long range shooting(50 yards) with a 1911 45acp and the 19 and it just couldn't hold a candle to it.

but the airweight has to stay? Well, it sure is nice to drop in a cargo/jacket pocket. I wouldn't be able to that with the 19, 17 or 1911.
