Wow, P-easy! That Desert Eagle looks amazing!

Well, I picked up my first gun/handgun purchase yesterday. I'm pretty sure most of you will laugh at me, but it's a Hi-Point .380 acp.

Before anyone starts mocking me beyond belief, I have shot guns enough and read enough reviews to fully understand that this gun I just purchased is a very cheap gun. That being said, the reviews I have read said a lot of the same things; those being that these guns are cheap, heavy, ugly, and they keep shooting. Not a lot of complaints about function, just about looks and weight.

That being said, I picked it up and put 100 rounds through it. I had 3 or 4 fail to feeds, but I think it was because of my technique and/or "limp wristing." I've read that these guns require the user to keep their wrists stiff for them to function properly. Anyway, it was fun to shoot, and I now own a gun! I plan on upgrading to something much better in the future, but I'm a college student without much money and I just wanted a "plinking" handgun. Maybe I'll post a picture later, but with all of the nice handguns on here so far, it might not be worth it.:)

Nothing wrong with that DL, no one will mock or laugh here. Your in good company!

.380 is the hardest round to get a hold of where I live, followed by 9mm.

Enjoy every sandwich.

no men on the back of the bike. that's the wrong kind of 'stabbed in the back'. not that there's a right kind...

i'd prolly just fly to tolly's. i got my american airlines advantage email today, i could fly there this weekend for $150.

woah mag!

I just meant bring some knives down so we can destroy some trees on the riverbank.

.. besides if I were to come with you on your bike... those little carts that attach to the side are much cooler!

That's odd. I've been reading about shortages like this all over the internet, but where I got the gun (in California of all places) they seemed to have just what I needed at a reasonable price. I got two boxes of 50 count Blazer ammo for $15 each, but if I wanted to go cheaper, they had boxes of 50 reloads for $13 each. Maybe they have it in stock here because there are fewer gun owners in this socialist state (I assume I can say that since I live here). I'm just glad I have a gun that I can go out and have some fun with.

they may take a lotta 9mm and 5.56, but not .45lc.
