Supposedly , WalMart is going to stop selling ammo by summer. Here in FLA. You can not find .380 anywhere??? All WM are shipping ammo to one store per county , and then OUT OF THE AMMO BUSINESS. WTF.......Our Shop and gunshows are double priced what they were 6mths ago. "Our gov't is stockpilling for the tough times ahead. Even online dealers are OUT of most popular calibres. We can only surmise where this is going. Reloading is being legislated against. All non registered ammo must be used by Jan 2010. This is the word going around here.

That is the word here too, but it is from the g-show people and stores buying their ammo from Wally-World. The deal about tagging ammo, ammo having a shelf life of 6 months, all stored ammo has to be used by 2010 is not going to happen. I do believe some HOR wrote it but it was shot down a few years ago. Just look what happened when the DOD got word to quite selling brass--pressure fro "We the People" made them say it was a mistake and they changed their stance on that directive. Not saying that the anti's won't continue, just don't think it will happen.

I think it is time to statr reloading if you havnt already.
Out here in california it has been a little tuff, but not to bad and at times it seems to come in huge lots.

Same with the guns.

If you like the Blackhawk, you'd love the Cimerron revolvers I was playing with at the gun shop yesterday. Reproductions of old Colt SAA and Navys. Very fine workmanship. Those Italians sure do nice work. The Peacemaker style in 45 Long Colt had a tuned action. So fine!

I am a big fan of reloading....it's the only way to shoot and afford it over here...factory ammo is very expensive...and in rifle ammo you get better results from reloading...the only things I don't reload is shotgun ammo and rimfire ammo...just buy in "bulk" and it is fairly cost effective here.

As bad as things are in the USA at present with the political changes....it is a [censored] sight better than it is here!

My friend gave me this one. It gotta be 70 years old and it doesn't work right. It shoots .22 shorts and the hammer only falls hard enough to fire the rounds half of the time. The grip screw broke so he zip tied it together <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" />. When shooting you get a click, click, bang, click, bang, click, click, click, click, bang and so on.

Nice H&Ks, rmc85. You have some money tied up in those. What is that old revolver, a H&R? I had one many years ago that shot pretty well.
