Thanks. I have no idea what the revolver is...Its got some German writing on it but I've had no luck IDing it.

And yes, HK's get costly .

If I remember, this pic is missing two rounds...

I wish I could honestly say I still owned both but hard times call for large sacrifices.

DumpsterDan,
Is your baby eagle the poly frame? I am still keeping my eyes open for one of the old, all steel, full sized models with the frame mounted safety (I am not a fan of slide mounted safeties).

dl351,
Congratulations on your first gun purchase. Make sure you get a 22lr before investing in more center-fires, they are really just a great deal of fun and relatively extremely inexpensive.

RMC85,
That springer is awesome.

Neo,
I am loving that colt, very nice in a 'classic' custom look.

Not sure who posted earlier about the HK P7 having a roller lock, this is not accurate. The P7 has a gas delayed blowback action. The P9 is the one with the roller lock.

I had a P7M8, it was very nice to shoot and I think it has the best sights of any pistol I have yet shot. It turned out to not be my favorite though because it would heat up fairly quickly when shooting at the range or IDPA club shoots with too few people. The 'heat shield' on the M8 does not seem to really be too effective. If/when I am able to buy a guy like this again I would probably go with the classic version instead of the M8, they have such nice lines.

Has anyone tried the Kel-tec PF9? I have heard they are very reliable, once broken in, have a nice trigger (relatively speaking of course), are very light and slim. It seems an ideal pistol for CCW.

Mine is the full steel version. I have to agree on not being a fan of slide mounted safeties...not sure why, they work

Same here, I guess I do not bother really exploring the issue as there are many nice pistols of each variety. I mainly just use it as a way to reduce the numbers of good pistols on my 'list'.
