Neo, beautiful pistols!

Ted Nugent is a big 10mm fan. He's shot several deer with it according to his book.

Not a large enough number to even call it a collection, but here is my 2 pistols. Ruger Super Blackhawk and an EAA Witness.

I love both of them.

I would call that a start to a collection. What caliber is the Witness?

Yes, Uncle Ted is a 10mm fan and has taken game with it too.

If you get a Glock 20, the 10mm, it is recommended that you get a different brl to shoot lead loads--KKF is probably the best for money/performance ratio. You need to beef up the springs too if they are going to be the 180 to 200 gr bullets too.

The Witness is 45ACP. I just better not get as hooked on new guns as I am on new knives, I can't afford to add that type of addiction.

T, know what you mean but I am the other way, I can't handle getting hooked by the Busse knives LOL.

Now rifles, pistols, and shotguns I love but they are getting to expensive to enjoy shooting much.

For the price of a case of 5.56mm I can get 5 CG S5 knives! See, that is what I was talking about above.

Good luck not getting hooked on Bussekin knives <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> I was not able to resist. I just hope I never find a gun forum as friendly as this one or I might just get drawn in.

T, there are a few decent gun boards out there. Smith and Wesson forum is one and we have a local gun board for the state of OK that is friendly too. We actually have others that join the OK board just to bs on. Be careful!

Yeah, but reloading provides both therapy in the activity and savings in the process!

I am paying a hair over $1/round for .44 mag right now!! I will be able to reload for the .500 for the same price.

Which one will have the larger grin factor?

I think if you melt down a brick of 22long rifle's you can get 3 x 500 bullets...LOL. The best sound for the buck.

A guy I know shot a deer this season with a 500 S&W...all I can say is WOW!

I know exactly what you talking about!! I shoot a lot less too because of the crazy ammo prices. I think the only ammo I shoot often is the .22LR. It is the only affordable round to shoot.

JYD #84 This is my rifle, and that is my SHTF Busse knife.

anyone shot the 10mm witness?

Not the Witness but I had glock in 10mm and it was shooter and it had some real power to it

I was speaking to Ammo Company guy a couple of years ago and he said that the 10mm is one the more popular rounds and a lot of it is sold in the south and south west for hogs
