wouldnt know but if it's a cheap way to get a 1911 lookin like the kinber desert warrior SHOULD have looked, then do it!
throw on the busse slabs and you will have one sick pistol. my concern would be that you may no longer see the springfield mark.

I remember when the Colt Delta Elites came out. One of my shooting buddies got one, and he still loves it. This may all be urban legend, but the story I heard was the 10mm was developed for the FBI as a more powerful cartridge following a shootout in Miami with bank robbers who out gunned the FBI with Mini-14s and such. But the ladies coming into law enforcement couldn't pull the slide back on the new pistol. The FBI went to the 45 acp. S&W tuned down the 10mm and it became the 40 S&W, which is now a most popular cartridge with law enforcement. Is that all about right? It could all be lies for all I know.
