very nice. i havn't shot a gun since i left the army in 99. so so sad. my brother just bought a xd(m) in .40 looking forward to visiting him soon.

With my friends 77/22 we could shoot bottle caps at 100 yards all day long. Very nice rifle HD.

Anyone have experience with the Henry Survival rifle? I like the concept of a 'packable' .22, but would not want to trade accuracy for novelty. I was looking at them a while ago and would appreciate any thoughts.

Marlin has a Papoose takedown I like better. That is a specialty gun. James Bond used one in one of his movies. I like Henry's lever action better.

Thanks for the feedback HD. The Marlin looks like a good option as well.
I remember seeing the Henry model for around $100 a few years ago and now they are around $200. [censored].

I have owned two Papooses and they were quite accurate. I was able to find 25 rd mags for them, too. They are good little rifles.

A friend of mine has a Papoose that is threaded for a suppressor. Neat and accurate little rifle. I held one of the AR-7 survival rifles today, and did not warm up to it at all.
