I've been lurking around here for couple of weeks researching custom knives. Good to be here with a great bunch of folks. I hope to snag my first fixed blade knife from SY. Thanks for all of the information and pics.

All - Thanks for the welcome and for level setting expectations on purchasing a knife directly from SY. I joined another recommended cutlery forum in the event I can't resist the temptation...until then I'll be patient.
eatingmuchface - Neo's are amazing creatures. It's cool to experience 3,000 years of virtually unchanged species interacting with and protecting his family. Unfortunately my 165lb tawny male molosser dog-of-war was the first and last one I've owned.
