Thanks guys Its taken a long time and far too much money to get what I have, but the trip is the best part.

The SIG Pro is a 2340, in .357 SIG. The .357 SIG is a sweet shooting cartridge, expensive though. The SIG has the smoothest trigger pull this side of a full custom, and I am a single action fanatic so that says a lot.

Better to have a quality tool you enjoy using instead of a cheaper one you avoid using!

Here is a slightly updated dream team. I don't have any Busses, yet.

Heres mine. I have three categories. Some blend into others

Africa gear:

FBM
CRKT M16 folder or my other CRKT folders.
Leatherman
Cold steel neck knife
Tops A.L.R.T neck knife
Tops Scalpel Boot knife
and my Busse Skeleton key (will ride on my FBM sheath)

I am waiting for SY to come out with the medium knife with the straight edge and drop point spine. The name escapes me.

Home gear:

DF
FBM
Scrapper as the medium knife (back up to both the DF and FBM)
CRKT M16 folder or my other CRKT folders.
Leatherman

Springfield 1911 45.

Primitive camp gear:

I have plans for a custom forged knife from Cox Knives. This will resemble a fur trade era knife. I will add the elk scales after he forges the blade.

My forged clasp knife. I had Ted (a blade maker, I'll find the website) forge a primitive folding blade. I found an antler in the woods and used on of the points to fasion the handle. I dremled it out and pinged the brass pin through the hole in the blade. I also made a leather sheath and turned this into a neck knife.

Forged tomahawk. I actually will be getting another.

Also I have made primitive belt bags with stag buttons to keep gear in.

I would also like a Hawkin rifle to go with this.

HD,
You are a hard core bowie guy! That Collins bowie is simply gorgeous

The patina on the combat blades really makes them special IMO. A nice patina says that the blade has been used and loved, kinda like kids stuffed animals that have lost some fake fur
